Sort
A dropdown at the top of every collection page that lets shoppers reorder products. Options include:
- Featured (your manual order)
- Best selling
- Alphabetical A–Z / Z–A
- Price low → high / high → low
- Date: new → old / old → new
Change the default sort
The order shown when a shopper first lands on the collection.
Shopify admin → Products → Collections
Open the collection
Scroll to Sort
Pick a default. Featured (manual) lets you drag products into a specific order below. Any other option auto-sorts.
Save
Hide sort options
If you only want to expose specific sort options:
Open the theme editor on a collection page
Click the Product grid section
Find Sort options
Toggle individual sorts on/off. E.g. hide “Price low → high” if you don’t want shoppers optimizing for cheapest.
