Install the theme
Adding Citera to your Shopify store takes about a minute. You can install it either from the Shopify Theme Store or, if you bought it directly from ALLSoft Agency, from your account dashboard.
From the Shopify Theme Store
Log in to your Shopify admin
Go to your store’s Shopify admin at your-shop.myshopify.com/admin and sign in.
Open the Theme Store
In the left sidebar, go to Online Store → Themes, then click Visit theme store at the top of the page.
Find Citera
Search for “Citera” in the theme store search bar, then open the theme’s page.
Try or buy
Click Try theme if you want to add it as a preview theme without paying yet, or Buy theme to purchase and add it to your library. Either way, Citera appears in your Online Store → Themes → Theme library section.
Publish
When you’re ready to make Citera live, click Actions → Publish on the theme card. The change is instant — no re-crawl or deploy needed.
Preview before publishing. You can fully customize Citera as an unpublished theme (Actions → Customize) before you publish. Your live theme stays untouched until you hit publish.
Directly from ALLSoft Agency
If you bought Citera as a direct download:
Download the theme ZIP
Log in to your ALLSoft Agency account dashboard and download the latest Citera ZIP file. Do not unzip it — Shopify uploads the ZIP directly.
Upload it to Shopify
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes, scroll down to Theme library, and click Upload theme. Select the ZIP file and confirm.
Wait for upload to finish
The upload takes about 30 seconds. When it’s done, Citera appears in your Theme library.
What happens after install
Once Citera is in your Theme library, it comes pre-loaded with one of three starting theme styles — Warm Editorial, Bold Commerce, or Minimal Mono. You can switch the starting style at any time (see Theme styles) — no content is lost when you switch.
