Sticky buy bar

As the shopper scrolls past the main β€œAdd to cart” button, a slim bar slides in from the bottom of the screen with:

  • Product name and price
  • Small thumbnail
  • Add to cart button

Slides back out when they scroll near the footer.

Enable the sticky buy bar

Open the theme editor, on the product page

Click the Product page section (the parent, not Product information)

Find Sticky buy bar

Toggle on.

When to use it

  • Long product pages with big galleries and multiple content blocks
  • Mobile-heavy stores β€” the sticky bar keeps the CTA reachable
  • High-consideration products where shoppers scroll a lot before deciding

When to skip it

  • Very short product pages (the main button is always visible)
  • Design-first stores where visual restraint matters β€” the sticky bar is functional but visually loud

Behavior on mobile

The sticky bar becomes wider on mobile (fills the screen edge-to-edge) with a larger tap target. This is intentional β€” mobile shoppers benefit from it most.
