Header & footerHeader logo

Header logo

Your logo lives at the top-left of the header by default. Some layouts move it to the center β€” Citera supports both.

The logo comes from Theme settings β†’ Branding β†’ Logo. See Logo & brand identity for the upload details.

Adjust logo width

Click the header in the theme editor

At the top of your page, click anywhere on the header row. The right panel shows the Header section settings.

Find Logo width

Enter the display pixel width. Common values:

  • 100 β€” very small, icon-only feel
  • 140 β€” compact wordmark (default for most)
  • 180 β€” medium presence
  • 240 β€” large, use only if your logo is very horizontal

Left vs center alignment

Same panel, find Logo position

Options: Left (default) or Center.

Left alignment

The logo sits at the top-left, nav next to it. This is the most familiar layout and works well for stores with many nav items.

Center alignment

The logo sits centered at the top, with nav split β€” half left of logo, half right. Feels editorial. Works best if you have fewer nav items (5 or less).

Mobile. On phones, the logo always sits centered with the menu (hamburger) icon on the left and cart on the right. The desktop alignment setting doesn’t affect mobile.

Retina (2x) logos

If your logo looks fuzzy on high-density screens:

  • Upload the file at 2Γ— your desired display width. E.g. for a 140px display, upload at 280px wide.
  • Better yet, upload as SVG β€” no fuzziness at any size.
