Sticky header
A sticky header stays pinned to the top of the browser as the shopper scrolls. Useful because:
- The search icon is always one click away
- The cart button stays visible during long product pages
- The navigation is always reachable
Enable sticky behavior
Click the Header section in the theme editor
Find Sticky header
Options:
- None — the header scrolls away like any other section (traditional)
- On scroll up — reappears when the shopper scrolls up, hides when scrolling down (works well, feels responsive)
- Always — stays pinned at all times (highest attention, uses more space)
Save
Reduced-height variant
When sticky, the header shrinks slightly (thinner padding, no announcement bar) so it takes less vertical space. This is automatic — no setting to configure.
Behavior on mobile
Sticky headers work on mobile too. The On scroll up setting is especially effective on phones — shoppers get the header back the moment they scroll up, without losing screen space while reading.
